We like to think of consultations as a flower-focused first date. Consultations are a time for us to get to know you and your story, as well as understand your vision for your big day!
Flowers are our favorite thing to discuss. We get excited to help you define your personal style and floral needs. We will lead you through our consult questions that have been curated over our decade in the industry.
Now, rest easy – you’re in good hands!
Loose consultation itinerary

Firstly, we will get to know each other! We love to hear proposal stories, so that is the first thing we always ask! Then we tell you a little about our story and our approach to floral design.

Next we ask you some preliminary questions about your event. Location, bridal party size, overall aesthetics, etc.

Then we start designing your floral vision! We have a myriad of discovery questions about your preferred colors, desired event feeling, and specific florals.

Finally, we create a list of your desired pieces for the initial proposal. We can always add or remove pieces afterward – this ensures you have a quote for each floral piece you are interested in having for your event!

Of course, no preparation is required. But if you want to get the most out of your Floral Consultation with your floral designer, here are a few things you can keep in mind!
Create a Pinterest Vision Board
Thinking through your wedding flowers general aesthetic and color scheme can help your designers quickly capture your vision!
Prepare a list of desired pieces
Knowing which pieces you want to see quoted on your initial proposal will ensure you have the information you need to make an educated floral decision!
Consider sentimental flowers
Some clients know exactly which flowers they want to include in their floral ingredients. For example, blue hydrangeas like the ones in your grandmother’s garden. Nothing makes us happier than to honor your story by involving sentimental flowers!
